More than 240 people evacuated from Sudzha district in Kursk Region
According to the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, rescuers accompany people to temporary accommodation centers, help them get settled, file the paperwork, search for relatives and friends
MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. More than 240 people have been evacuated from the Sudzha district of the Kursk Region, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said.
"Employees of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry continue to provide assistance to residents evacuated from the Sudzha district. As of 6:00 p.m., a total of 241 people have been brought out since the beginning of the evacuation," the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, rescuers accompany people to temporary accommodation centers, help them get settled, file the paperwork, search for relatives and friends.
"Russian Emergency Situations Ministry psychologists are working with Kursk Region residents in the temporary accommodation centers. They conduct classes in groups and one-on-one, give consultations and special exercises for emotional and psychological relief. Specialists provide the necessary psychological assistance not only to them, but also to their relatives, whom they had lost contact with for a long time. People are willing to share, open to communication. On average, several dozens of people receive such assistance every day," the ministry said.
All the efforts are in compliance with the current counterterrorism operation measures.
