MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has confirmed his participation in the VE-Day celebrations in Moscow on May 9, the Kremlin press service said after his phone calls with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"The Armenian prime minister confirmed that he had accepted the Russian president’s invitation and will attend celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War [of 1941-1945] (the Eastern Front during WWII where the former Soviet Union fought against Nazi Germany - TASS) on May 9," it said.
Apart from that, according to the Kremlin, the leaders "touched upon some issues of the further development of mutually beneficial Russian-Armenian ties."
