Moscow court fined Pinterest due to personal data law violation

Pinterest was fined 3.5 mln rubles ($39,000) earlier for violating the procedure of restricting access to information
MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. The Tagansky Court of Moscow fined Pinterest photo hosting service 12,000,000 rubles ($133,800) fine for violating the personal data law, the court’s press service told TASS.
"Pinterest Inc. was recognized as liable of committing an administrative offense under part 9 of Article 13.11 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of Russian laws in the sphere of personal data) by the ruling of the Tagansky District Court. The administrative fine in the amount of twelve million rubles was set to it," the court said.
