Over half of Russians view their country as one of technological powers

MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. More than half of Russian citizens regard Russia as one of the leading technological powers, a recent poll conducted by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) revealed.
The survey was conducted on January 24, covering 1,600 Russians aged 18 and older. The results were published on the center's website.
"The public perception of Russia as a global technological leader has improved in the last four years: 65% of Russians are now ready to rank their country among the world's leading technological countries (a 10% increase)," the center stated.
