MOSCOW, December 27. /TASS/. Two Russian families returned home from Syria, Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova said on her Telegram account.

"An aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Defense landed today in the Moscow Region and brought our compatriots to homeland. Both families are with children - one mother with an infant, and a father, a mother, a grandfather and three children. They are happy that everything ended successfully," she said.

The commissioner thanked the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian Embassy in Syria, and the Russian Defense Ministry for assistance.
