Minsk blasts Warsaw for attempting to compromise Belarusian diplomat
According to the ministry, the Polish envoy was warned that "Belarus reserves the right to take any response measures it deems necessary."
MINSK, December 11. /TASS/. Belarus views as unacceptable the recent provocative actions by Polish intelligence agencies, as they grossly violate international law and seriously harm bilateral relations, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said in its statement.
Earlier, the Polish charge d’affaires in Belarus Krzysztof Ozhanna was summoned to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry earlier.
"The Polish diplomat was taken to task and issued a corresponding note in regards to the recent attempted recruitment of a Belarusian diplomat in Chisinau by Polish intelligence," the foreign ministry said.
According to the ministry, the Polish envoy was warned that "Belarus reserves the right to take any response measures it deems necessary."
On December 10, the Belarus-1 TV channel reported that Polish representatives attempted to recruit a Belarusian diplomat in Chisinau, offering a bribe of 100,000 euros.
