MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. The number of foreign citizens deported from Russia since the beginning of the year has already exceeded last year’s figure by 45%, Interior Ministry Spokesperson Irina Volk said.
"The number of deportations rose by 47.3% in the third quarter of the year compared to the same period last year. A total of 45.1% more foreign nationals have been expelled from Russia for violating the law," she specified.
Volk also noted that the number of surprise inspections of businesses and individual entrepreneurs went up 2.4-fold, making it possible to identify 77.4% more offenses.
"As a result of work to enforce administrative legislation, 50.4% more administrative offenses committed by foreign nationals and stateless persons were recorded," the ministry spokesperson added.
