SUKHUM, November 12. /TASS/. The situation developing in Abkhazia is its internal affair, tourists can come to the republic as they are not threatened, Foreign Minister Sergey Shamba told TASS.

"Tourists are not threatened, this is an internal process, so tourists can come to the republic, they have nothing to fear," the top diplomat said.

He added that Abkhazia's foreign partners have not yet expressed any concern about the situation in the republic.

Earlier, the opposition blocked all three bridges leading to Sukhum. Later, one bridge was opened, while the other two remained closed until the authorities meet the opposition's demands to release all previously detained activists.
