Russia, India hope to simplify procedure of recognizing educational documents

NEW DELHI, November 12. /TASS/. Russia is planning to enhance the development of agreements with India regarding the recognition of educational documents, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov pointed out at the plenary session of the intergovernmental Russian-Indian commission.
According to him, more than 600 bilateral cooperation agreements have already been signed between universities of Russia and India, and approximately 28,000 Indian students are currently studying in Russia.
"It is necessary to simplify the procedures for mutual recognition of educational documents and academic degrees. We hope to accelerate the development of relevant agreements," Manturov said.
