MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on awarding the title of Hero of Labor to Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko.

According to the decree posted on the governmental website, the title was awarded for special labor services to the state and the people.

On April 7, Matviyenko turned 75.
