Over 9,000 children from Belgorod region evacuated elsewhere in Russia over attacks

MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. More than 9,000 children have been evacuated from the Russian borderline region of Belgorod due to Ukrainian attacks, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"Our children, some 400 in number, have arrived in Vologda and Volgograd. In all, over 9,000 little residents of the Belgorod Region have been accommodated in other regions. Everyone of them is under control," the official wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor said he had held a conversation on Wednesday with the heads of the Russian Volga republic of Tatarstan, North Ossetia in the North Caucasus and the Omsk Region in Siberia and that an agreement had been reach to accommodate children in those regions.
