Over 7,700 people donated blood for victims of Crocus terror attack — Moscow mayor

MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. Over 7,700 people volunteered to donate blood for victims of the terrorist attack that rocked the Crocus City Hall music venue in suburban Moscow on March 22, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said on his Telegram channel.
"More than 7,700 people came to donate blood for the victims," the mayor wrote.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova earlier told reporters that there was enough medicine and blood on hand for the wounded at Crocus. According to her, altogether more than 24,000 people visited blood transfusion points.
On the evening of March 22, a terrorist attack targeted the Crocus City Hall music venue in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, just over the Moscow city limits. The current death toll is 139, while 182 people were injured. Eleven individuals suspected of being involved in the terrorist attack have been apprehended, including four gunmen, who were detained in the Bryansk Region, southwest of Moscow, as they attempted to seek refuge by crossing the nearby Ukrainian border. President Vladimir Putin said in a televised address that, according to preliminary information, the Ukrainian side had prepared "a window" in the border especially for the terrorists to cross undetected. He promised that all those who were behind the attack on Crocus City Hall would be identified and punished.
