MOSCOW, January 12. /TASS/. Moscow's Basmanny court has charged Left Front coordinator Sergey Udaltsov with justifying terrorism using the Internet, a TASS correspondent reports from the courtroom.

"The court decided to satisfy the investigation's petition to elect a preventive measure in the form of detention for Udaltsov. To select for him a preventive measure in the form of detention in custody for a period to last until February 15," Judge Yevgeniya Nikolaeva read out her decision.

Udaltsov’s defense team plans to appeal his arrest, his lawyer Dmitriy Agranovsky said.
