FSB nabs suspect for transfer of information about Russian defense facilities to Ukraine
The security service also established that the person has been sending money transfers to Ukrainian armed formations to finance their activity
CHEBOKSARY, December 26. /TASS/. Officers of the department of the Federal Security Service (FSB) in central Russia’s Chuvash Republic apprehended a Moscow Region resident on suspicion of sending information about the location of Russian Defense Ministry facilities to a Ukrainian nationalist organization.
Law enforcement officers suspect that the defendant in a criminal case supports a Ukrainian nationalist organization. "According to the investigators, the suspect has been providing information about the disposition of Russian Defense Ministry facilities and defense companies located in the Moscow and the Kaluga regions to representatives [of that organization]," the FSB said in a statement.
The FSB has also established that, throughout 2023, the person, born in 1999, has been sending money transfers to Ukrainian armed formations to finance their activity. The probe is ongoing.
