MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. More than 200 members of Ukraine's armed formations have been sentenced in Russia to long prison terms since the start of the special military operation, the Russian Investigative Committee said.
"More than 4,000 criminal cases have been filed against more than 900 individuals, including representatives of Ukraine's military and political leadership, members of radical nationalist groups, representatives of Ukrainian security forces and mercenaries. More than 200 members of Ukrainian armed formations have already been sentenced to long prison terms for their crimes," the agency said in a statement.
The agency also said that acting in cooperation with the Russian Defense Ministry and other government agencies, the Russian Investigative Committee continues to take measures aimed at ensuring law and order and the protection of the country’s state and public security.
