SIMFEROPOL, December 18. /TASS/. Members of Crimea’s State Council (regional legislature) have moved to nationalize the property of another 77 legal entities and individuals carrying out actions in the interests of Ukraine, council head Vladimir Konstantinov said.
"The property of another 77 entities and individuals involved in subversive activities against Russia has been nationalized in Crimea. State Council members made the relevant decision through absentee voting. The list includes about 1,150 movable and immovable items of property. However, the list is going to be updated with more items," Konstantinov wrote on Telegram.
In particular, properties owned by a number of Crimea resort facilities, Crimean assets of the Mariupol-based Ilyich Steel Plant, agribusiness enterprises and banks, including the State Savings Bank of Ukraine, as well as of sports and rehabilitation centers, have been nationalized.
"What’s important is that there are a lot of large-scale, promising projects concerning the nationalized property items. I am confident that our - Russian - businessmen will be interested in these and other property units. In addition, the property of individuals who have been taking unfriendly actions against us and our country has also been nationalized. These include people who are well-known in Crimea, namely Pinchuk (who forfeited a residential building and a 455-square-meter land plot in Beloglinka) and Senchenko (who was deprived of a 25% stake in a non-residential building in Yalta)," Konstantinov concluded.
