BEIJING, December 16. /TASS/. The flow of tourists from China to Russia’s Far East is expected to climb ten-fold by the end of this year compared with 2022, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev told TASS.

"Following the pandemic direct flights to Chinese cities were resumed from Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Ulan-Ude and Yakutsk," he said after the meeting of the intergovernmental commission on development of Russia’s Far East and China’s North-East that took place in Beijing.

"I think that in 2023 the flow of tourists will be ten times higher than in 2022," Trutnev added.
