TYUMEN, December 7. /TASS/. A Tyumen Region citizen has been arrested on charges of high treason as he has been providing financial assistance to Ukraine’s armed forces, the regional department of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) told TASS.

A criminal case has been launched, the FSB added.

According to investigators, the detainee deliberately made a money transfer in order to help the Ukrainian army. He may face up to life imprisonment.
