World Youth Festival to contribute to establishment of multipolar world — Putin

MOSCOW, November 21. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated his certainty that the World Youth Festival will contribute to creation of a multipolar world.
"I am certain that the festival will become an important milestone on the path of establishment of a just, multipolar world, will be able to consolidate the youth in its search for solutions that the modern world order needs, in creation of firm cooperation basis that relations between countries will be built upon," Putin said in his video address, timed to 100 days before the beginning of the event.

"We want our guests to see that Russia is truly a country of opportunities, and young people have huge space to implement their potential, to fulfill their dreams," the president underscored.
He noted that the youth, who "will have to define the future," respects personal freedom and the right for own opinion. This is why young people find it much easier to understand each other, "because they prioritize things that unite, not divide people."
"Russia adheres to the same principles of recognition of distinctiveness and national interests of various states," Putin underscored.
