PARIS, November 17. /TASS/. Russia's visa centers in a number of French cities will stop working from November 24, the Russian embassy in France said.
"We inform you that from November 24, 2023, Russian visa centers in Paris, Marseille, Nice and Strasbourg will stop their work," the embassy said in a statement. "If you have any questions regarding the processing of visas to Russia, please contact the consular department of the Russian Embassy in France, consulates general in Marseille and Strasbourg as well as the chancellery in Villefranche-sur-Mer," the diplomats said. Registration for visa processing at the Russian embassy in France is carried out strictly by appointment through the electronic queuing system on the embassy's website, the diplomats added.
According to the information on the website of the embassy, the issuance of electronic visas to foreign citizens started on August 1, 2023. It is recommended to apply for such a document no later than four calendar days before the planned entry into Russia. The validity period of a single electronic visa for entry is 60 days from the date of its issuance with the authorized period of stay of a foreign citizen in Russia not exceeding 16 days from the date of entry into the territory of the country.
