MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. About 81 million people use WhatsApp (owned by Meta Corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia) every day, making the platform the leader in terms of population coverage in Russia.
The top three also includes Yandex and Google, the head of the customer support sector of the Digital Mediascope segment Natalia Borozdina said.
According to Borozdina's report, WhatsApp remains the leader in Russia in terms of average daily reach: more than 81 million people use it per day. Yandex is second with an index of 68 million people, and Google is third, with more than 64 million people visiting it.
More than 56 million people visit Telegram every day, while VKontakte has more than 54 million visitors. YouTube has an average daily audience of 53 million people.
"We see that in terms of average daily reach, past major players have dropped out, namely social network Instagram (banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia - TASS), and Aliexpress, a popular e-commerce player and marketplace. Meanwhile, Dzen and Ozon are rising," Borozdina said during the National Advertising Forum.
