Drunk passenger from Guangzhou flight detained at Sheremetyevo for bomb threats
It is reported that no explosive devices were found
MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. Police at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport have detained drunk passenger from the Guangzhou-Moscow flight for rowdy behavior and bomb threats on board.
According to police, a patrol had to be dispatched to meet an airliner from Guangzhou.
One of the passengers, apparently drunk, had been using foul language during the flight and ignored the crew’s attempts to call him to order. Also, he claimed he had a bomb on his belt under the T-shirt, the press-service said.
The 39-year-old man was detained.
Medical examination confirmed he was drunk. No explosive devices were found.
The police made a report over an administrative offense under article 20.21 of the Code of Administrative Offences (appearance in public places in a state of alcoholic intoxication). Further inquiries are in progress.
