Preparations for International RUSSIA EXPO took over seven months — director
According to Natalia Virtuozova, the EXPO will last five months, during which a program of various business, cultural and educational events is planned
MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. Preparing expositions, exhibits and displays for the International RUSSIA EXPO, which kicks off on November 4 at the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy (VDNKh) in Moscow, was a process that took seven months, the EXPO’s director general, Natalia Virtuozova, told TASS.
"The president signed a decree on holding [the EXPO] at the end of March. It took seven months to prepare the event. During this time we had to coordinate, prepare and build 131 separate expositions. These are [exhibits dedicated to] all 89 regions of Russia, federal ministries, leading corporations and public organizations," Virtuozova said.
According to her, the EXPO will last five months, during which a program of various business, cultural and educational events is planned.
The International RUSSIA EXPO will run from November 4, 2023 through April 12, 2024 at the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy (VDNKh) in Moscow. All regions of Russia will be represented with their own dedicated expositions.
