DONETSK, July 31. /TASS/. Reporters from six NATO countries, including the UK and the US, are ready to work in a new news agency that may be established in Donbass, Christel Nehan, an independent journalist from France and the editor-in-chief of the Donbass Insider online news portal, told TASS.

Earlier, at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization Russia - Land of Opportunity, she suggested uniting Western journalists working in Russia into a single cohesive unit. Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to support her project.

"After the president's approval of my project, we will start concrete work on its creation. The main thing is that journalists who have always told the truth will work there. They come from Canada, France, the Netherlands, the UK, the US and Italy. Already after the meeting with Vladimir Vladimirovich [Putin], they called me and said that they were also interested in this cooperation," the journalist said.

According to her, the project involves the creation of a news agency that will publish information in several languages. This will require the involvement of professional translators, the journalist added.
