Killed military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky to be buried in Moscow April 8

The National Anti-Terrorist Committee has said that Ukraine’s secret services had masterminded the attack

MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. The funeral of volunteer, military blogger and book author known by his penname Vladlen Tatarsky (his real name is Maxim Fomin) will take place in Moscow on Saturday, his friend, rapper Akim Apachev, has said.

"Vladlen's funeral will be on Saturday, April 8, in Moscow. The exact time, place and details will be announced later," he added.

Earlier on Tuesday, a source in military circles familiar with the wish of Fomin’s relatives told TASS that "Tatarsky will be buried at the Troyekurovskoye cemetery," adding that "the date is not yet known."

Tatarsky died on April 2 in an explosion inside a cafe in St. Petersburg, where he was meeting with a group of his readers. He died on the spot. More than 30 people were injured.

Vladlen Tatarsky was a volunteer with the Donbass militias. He authored two autobiographical books - The Run and The War and one fiction book entitled Meditation.

Shortly before the special military operation in Ukraine began Tatarsky left for the DPR and later participated in a number of combat operations as a member of the Vostok battalion, including the battle of Mariupol, in the capacity of a drone operator.

Alongside military service in Donbass Tatarsky was involved in blogging and humanitarian fundraising activities.
