MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. Steven Seagal, an American actor and Russian Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for Russian-American humanitarian ties, explained on Monday what being Russian means to him.

To be Russian means "to stand up for the truth, to fight for the truth," he told reporters on Tuesday.

The actor has Russian citizenship. President Vladimir Putin personally presented Seagal with a Russian passport in November 2016.
