MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. The number of consultations with psychologists sought by Russian gained 15% in January 2023 in monthly terms, according to statistics of the psychological support service of VSK insurance house seen by TASS.

"According to statistics, the incremental growth of the demand for relevant specialists was almost 15% in January 2023 against December 2022. This evidences growing awareness of the population, a change in social stereotypes and that the psychological aid is becoming more accessible for the population," the research says.

In particular, Russians more and more often seek help due to crises in families, divorces, challenging relations with parents, children, partners and colleagues, stresses at work, burnouts, emotionally anxious and depressive conditions, and because of health problems amid psychosomatic manifestations.

The most widespread causes of consulting psychologists are family conflicts related to the difference in generations and views of relatives regarding the life. They are followed by the professional activity and the consequence of anxiety because of the challenging personal situation, ongoing information pressure, procrastination and other symptoms.
