Penza Region bans drones until further notice
The sole exception was made for those drones used by government agencies, municipal authorities, and organizations under their jurisdiction
PENZA, March 7. /TASS/. The Penza Region has outlawed unmanned aerial vehicles, at least for the time being.
"In line with a decision by the Penza Region situational analysis center, the head of the region has issued a decree outlawing unmanned aerial vehicles," the regional Ministry of Public Safety and Support for Justices of the Peace said in a news release on Tuesday.
The sole exception was made for those drones used by government agencies, municipal authorities, and organizations under their jurisdiction. Individuals and corporate entities can now operate drones only by agreement with the Penza regional authorities and local governments, as well as organizations under their jurisdiction.
The ban will be in effect until further notice and the "basic readiness level" introduced across the region has been rescinded.
