HAIKOU /China/, March 1. /TASS/. The resort city of Sanya on the southern coast of China's Hainan Island will hold the International Hainan International Cultural & Creativity Week 24-30. This was reported by the Sanya Daily newspaper.

The newspaper wrote that a series of events will be held under the slogan "Resonance - the burning steppe." Part of them will be devoted to investment cooperation, for which several dozen meetings are planned, aimed at strengthening business partnerships. The week will be attended by representatives of more than 30 cultural industries, over 300 experts from various research organizations and think tanks. A total of about 3 thousand invited guests are expected to attend.

A program of more than 100 cultural and entertainment events has also been planned in conjunction with the Sanya event. Special attention will be given to networking among regional structures, including those related to tourism and design. One of the tasks is to form the platform for complex interaction, which would allow to realize the creative potential and stimulate the development of perspective products.

During these seven days Hainan will host conferences and forums on economy, village development, urban modernization, the intersection of culture and tourism, revolutionary aesthetics, ecology, private hospitality, science and education. A dialogue will be held to exchange information and to make the public aware of promising projects. Hainan Creativity Week is expected to stimulate the sustainable growth of China's cultural industries and provide new business opportunities.
