BANGKOK, February 10. /TASS/. A Russian national was detained on Phuket, Thailand, for working illegally as a guide, according to the local media.

According to the report, a 29-year-old Russian national was detained on February 9 in the historic center of Phuket Town, where he was providing a tour for a group of 11 other Russian nationals. According to the police, the man and his clients visited three tourist locations.

Meanwhile, the police disclosed that the man made four trips to Malaysia and came back to update his tourist visa.
