Doctors haven’t recorded a surge of infections or any new strains of the virus during the Spring Festival Golden Week holiday from January 21-27.
The trend toward fewer cases has been observed across all regions of China. The number of cases of severe disease, hospitalizations and fatalities continues to decline, the report said.
