As many as 834 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia over the past day
MOSCOW, January 21. /TASS/. Russia’s COVID-19 case tally rose by 6,014 over the past day to 21,888,428, the anti-coronavirus crisis center reported on Saturday.
As many as 834 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia over the past day. The number of hospitalized patients declined in 36 regions, while in 36 other regions the figure increased. A day earlier, 837 people were rushed to hospitals.
Moscow’s COVID-19 cases rose by 1,921 over the past day against 2,038 a day earlier, reaching 3,328,349, according to the anti-coronavirus crisis center. St. Petersburg’s COVID-19 cases increased by 730 over the past day against 712 a day earlier, reaching 1,838,017.
COVID-19 recoveries
Russia’s COVID-19 recoveries rose by 4,586 over the past day, reaching 21,302,505, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told reporters. A day earlier 4,698 patients recovered.
COVID-19 death toll
Russia’s COVID-19 death toll increased by 43 over the past day and reached 394,653 since the beginning of the pandemic, the crisis center announced. A day earlier 41 COVID-19 deaths were registered.
