MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the water blockade of Donetsk by Ukraine’s armed forces was genocide.
The issue of water outages in Donetsk was raised at a session of the Council for Civil Society and Human Rights on Wednesday. "What is this? These are water supply facilities that are being controlled by the Ukrainian army preventing water from getting to a million-plus city. This is genocide, this is simply continued genocide," the Russian leader said.
"Nobody notices this! Nobody!" Putin emphasized.
"This (the situation with water in Donetsk - TASS) is just another confirmation that we are doing everything right. We simply don’t have a choice to act differently," he stressed.
