GENICHESK, November 14./TASS/. The Ukrainian authorities have revoked the credentials of journalists who visited Kherson so that they would not tell the truth about the massacres being carried out and false flags being plotted by Kiev’s security forces, the deputy governor of the region, Yekaterina Gubareva, told TASS on Monday.

"And one more alarming detail: the journalists who entered the city with the first units <...> [of Ukrainian troops] had their press cards voided. Why? Most likely, so that they would not show executions and Bucha-style false flags," she said.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that Kiev did not intend to let journalists into Kherson because of the need for mine clearance. On November 13, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the revocation of work permits from a number of media representatives who "had carried out information activities in Kherson before stabilization measures were taken" in violation of the bans and without coordinating their moves. The General Staff added that the press cards of these journalists were canceled. It did not give the names of the journalists or media outlets. Ukrainian media subsequently reported that at least six journalists were involved, including the camera crews of CNN and Sky News.

On November 9, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu ordered the pullback of Russian forces from the right bank of the Dnieper under the proposal of Sergey Surovikin, commander of the joint group of forces in the special military operation zone.

The military commander underscored that Russian forces have been successfully repelling Ukrainian attacks, and the decision to move the forces out was due to the threat of the group getting isolated because of potential flooding of the territory below the Kakhovskaya HPP dam. According to Surovikin, all civilians who expressed their desire to evacuate, over 115,000 people, have been relocated to the left bank.
