UNITED NATIONS, October 28. /TASS/. The Russian Permanent Mission to the United Nations will present the RT documentary ‘Journalists under Fire’ about Russian war correspondents working in Donbass, according to the mission’s letter circulated on Friday.

Among the journalists featured in the documentary are VGTRK war correspondent Evgeny Poddubny and Semyon Pegov, author of the WarGonzo project, who are expected to attend the event virtually.

The documentary will tell about the new emerging standards of warfare journalism from the perspective of media and information literacy. The event will be held within the UN Global Media and Information Literacy Week.

"Amidst this information warfare, the need to have access to verified and truthful data about the current developments appears crucial. When it comes to the special military operation, one of the few sources of fact-based unbiased accounts are the correspondents in the warfare zones," the letter said.

The documentary will be released by RT at the end of 2022. A presentation video will be played at the coming event, and the authors will talk about their work on the film.
