West lays claims on all humankind resources, says Putin

MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. The Western countries are laying claims on all natural resources in possession of the humankind in order to strengthen their undisputable dominance in the spheres of economy and politics, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday.
"The task was obvious and it was to strengthen the West’s undisputable dominance in the global economy and politics," the president told a plenary session of the Valdai International Discussion Club on Thursday.
"In order to do this, they have employed environmental and financial resources, as well as global intellectual, staff and economic possibilities, to come up under a dressing of the so-called new global mutual-dependency," the president said.
"I would like to quote another philosopher here - Alexander Zinovyev… who said almost 20 years ago that the Western civilization would require at its present-day consumption rate the whole planet as an environment for the survival, including all humankind resources," Putin said. "This is what they are aiming at. This is what we are faced with."
