Over 122,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid delivered to Russia’s new regions — ministry

The latest aid convoy arrived to Lugansk on Sunday, carrying foodstuffs

MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. The Russian emergencies ministry delivered over 122,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk (the DPR and the LPR) and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions since March 2022, the ministry’s press service has told TASS.

"More than 122,000 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes have been delivered to the DPR, the LPR, the Zaporozhye Region and the Kherson Region by 1,627 vehicle convoys of the Russian emergencies ministry since the humanitarian mission began [in March]," the ministry said.

The latest aid convoy arrived to Lugansk on Sunday, carrying foodstuffs. Humanitarian deliveries also include bottled water, construction materials, medicines and essential goods.
