YOSHKAR-OLA, July 11. /TASS/. About 1.4 mln infants were born in Russia last year, Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko revealed to reporters on Monday.

"I would like to say that 1.4 mln babies were born in the country on the whole in 2021," Murashko said.

Russia has seen record low mortality rates lately, he added.
