MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/. VK Play service has lowered the fee for game developers from Russia and foreign countries to 5%, VK Play’s press service says on Thursday.

"VK Play, the Russian platform for game fans, developers and content creators, is announcing new terms of profit distribution within the framework of the support for game studios seeking to add their projects to the VK Play catalogue. The platform’s fee will be 5% (including the fee of payment systems), while developers will receive 95% of revenues at the same time," the press service informs.

Such terms will cover Russian and foreign developers, starters and studios bringing users to games, the press service said. VK Play will also provide up to 350,000 new project presentations to determine product metrics and offer the volume of further featuring and traffic based on the data received.

The new feature will also apply to mobile games ported to personal computers, which provide developers with 10-15% of revenues from in-app purchases, the press service adds.

VK Play went live on April 25, 2022.
