Paris police detained 68 persons before and during Champions League final — newspaper

They were detained in Paris and in Saint-Denis suburb

PARIS, May 29. /TASS/. French law enforcers detained 68 persons for various violations at the Stade De France stadium and near fan zones before and during the Champions League final match between Real Madrid and Liverpool, L’Equipe newspaper reports, citing the metropolitan police prefecture.

"As of Saturday night data, the police prefecture of Paris announced 68 detainees <...> in fan zones of Liverpool and Real, in Paris, Saint-Denis and near the Stade De France stadium," the newspaper said. First aid was provided to 238 fans that got minor injuries.

46 persons were detained in Paris and in Saint-Denis, the BFM TV channel reported earlier.

The match ended with Real Madrid’s victory 1:0.
