Russia’s emergencies ministry deploys 3 mobile community notification systems in Mariupol
One of such systems was deployed on a fixed site
MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. Three mobile information and community notification systems has been deployed in Mariupol, the press service of the Russian emergencies ministry told TASS on Thursday.
"Practically for three months, Mariupol residents have been in information vacuum due to the lack of electricity. Russian emergencies ministry’s rescuers have deployed three mobile information and community notification systems to provide latest information. One of such systems was deployed on a fixed site, the two others are moving about the city to broadcast news in various Mariupol districts," it said.
Apart from that, such systems are in use in Volnovakha and the Krasny Liman district. They broadcast news from federal and republican television channels, transmit help information, and air cartoons and fairy-tale films for children.
Over the past five days, Russian emergencies ministry has delivered 1,400 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes, including food, bottled water, medicines and daily necessities, to Ukraine and Donbass. In all, more than 22,000 tonnes of humanitarian assistance have been delivered by the Russian emergencies ministry since the beginning of the humanitarian operation.
The ministry’s bomb disposal specialists have examined nearly 152 hectares and spotted and destroyed around 24,000 explosive objects. Rescuers continue to clear the debris in settlements affected by combat operations.
