Kremlin spokesman says he has no idea of when Putin will be revaccinated against COVID-19

Dmitry Peskov also said he had no information about the level of Putin's immunity to coronavirus

MOSCOW, May 18. /TASS/. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he had no idea of when Russian President Vladmir Putin will be re-vaccinated against COVID-19.

"I cannot respond right now, I simply don’t know," he said, answering to a relevant question during a TASS interview.

The spokesman also said he had no information about the level of Putin's immunity to coronavirus.

All measures to protect the president's health remain in place, although the coronavirus situation in Russia is not as serious as it used to be, Peskov has told TASS.

"Although certain precautions regarding the head of the state remain in place, the situation is not as serious now as it used to be," he said, when asked whether doctors monitored the level of coronavirus antibodies in the president’s blood on a permanent basis.

"As far as the president is concerned, special rules are in place, and they continue to be in place. Everything that must be done to protect the president’s health is being done," he said.

Vladimir Putin was vaccinated against COVID-19 in the spring of 2021. The first component was administered on March 23, the second - on April 15. Later, the president said he was vaccinated with Sputnik V.

The president underwent his first revaccination on November 21, 2021, and participated in the trials of the nasal anti-coronavirus vaccine on the following day.
