Russian public’s confidence in Putin soars to 81.5%, poll reveals
According to the survey results, the level of positive assessment of the Prime Minister and the Russian government over the past week amounted to 53%

The level of Russian citizens' confidence in President Vladimir Putin rose by 0.9% to 81.5% over the week, according to the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM) that published the results of the survey conducted from April 25 to 30 among 1,600 respondents aged over 18.
"When asked directly about confidence in Vladimir Putin, 81.5% of the Russians polled answered positively (plus 0.9%); the level of approval of the Russian president's work from April 25-30 was 78.9% (plus 1.2% over the week)," the report notes.
The level of positive assessment of the Prime Minister and the Russian government over the past week amounted to 53% (+0.5%) and 52.8% (+1%), respectively. "Mikhail Mishustin is trusted by 63.5% of respondents (-0.2% over the week)," the report specifies.
Respondents also expressed their confidence in the heads of parliamentary factions. "32.9% of respondents trust Gennady Zyuganov (+3.3%), 28.9% of those polled trust Sergey Mironov (+1.7% more per week), and 9.2% of respondents trust Alexey Nechaev (+1.8% over the week)," the pollsters noted.
The level of support for the United Russia party stood at 41.2% (+0.6% over the week), with the CPRF at 11.2% (-0.2%), the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) at 8.5% (-0.4%), Just Russia - For Truth at 5.9% (+0.7%), and The New People at 4.8% (+0.3%).
In the spontaneous rating of confidence in Russian politicians, Vladimir Putin's indicator was 42.4% (-0.7% in April). Sergey Lavrov got 21.0% (-1.8% in April) and Sergey Shoygu received 18.9% (-2.2% in April). They hold the second and third positions according to the April 2022 polls.
