About 500 Russians transfer from foreign universities — Education and Science Ministry
By May, more than 1,300 applications from students expelled from foreign universities were received by Russian universities, the Ministry notes
MOSCOW, May 4. /TASS/. About 525 Russians who studied at foreign universities have transferred to domestic universities, the press service of the Education and Science Ministry said on Wednesday.
"525 students from foreign universities have been enrolled in Russian universities," the report said.
It is noted that more than 1,300 applications from students expelled from foreign universities were received by Russian universities by early May. Most of them came from the Czech Republic, Poland, Great Britain, the USA, Germany, France, Ukraine, DPR and LPR.
Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree according to which Russians who studied abroad and were unreasonably expelled from European universities will be able to continue their studies at Russian universities for free.
