MOSCOW, May 2. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulates Russian Muslims on the Eid al-Fitr holiday, with the telegram posted on the Kremlin’s website on Monday.
"This ancient holiday, which is significant for every Muslim, marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, symbolizes commitment to humanistic ideals, piety and mercy, and turns believers to the origins of Islam and the high moral guidelines that underlie all world religions," the head of state said in his address.
