MOSCOW, April 27. /TASS/. Pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko, who was convicted in the United States in 2011, is coming back to Russia in two hours, his wife Viktoria Yaroshenko told TASS on Wednesday.

"He is going to be back in Russia in two hours," she told TASS when asked when the pilot would come to Russia. "[He is flying to] Moscow. I do not even know which airport I should go to. They called me to tell I have an hour and a half to get ready."

Speaking about possible help Yaroshenko may need upon his return home, the pilot’s spouse said that she was not aware what exactly would be needed.

Yaroshenko was sentenced to 20 years in prison in the US on September 7, 2011. He pled not guilty and argued that his arrest was a provocation and the whole case was a frame-up. He had been brought to the United States following his arrest in Liberia on May 28, 2010. Agents of the US Drug Enforcement Administration conducted a sting operation to allegedly expose his criminal intention to transport a large batch of cocaine.
