Investigative Committee to study data on Polish, French mercenaries in Ukraine

Russian missile troops eliminated a group of up to 30 Polish mercenaries in the settlement of Izyumskoye in the Kharkov Region

MOSCOW, April 15. /TASS/. Russia’s Investigative Committee will study information by the Russian Defense Ministry on the involvement of mercenaries from Poland and France in military actions on the Ukrainian side, Spokesperson for the Investigative Committee Svetlana Petrenko told TASS on Friday.

"These facts will be documented and investigated within the framework of a criminal case on the recruitment and participation of foreign mercenaries during the special military operation on defending Donbass residents conducted by Russian troops," she said.

According to Russia’s Defense Ministry, Russian missile troops eliminated a group of up to 30 Polish mercenaries in the settlement of Izyumskoye in the Kharkov Region. Additionally, according to existing data, Ukrainian territorial defense units include the soldiers of the French Foreign Legion.
