At the same time, all patients still must continue to receive the needed medical treatment and care

MOSCOW, March 21./TASS/. The coronavirus incidence rate is on the decline across the country, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Monday.

"The incidence rate is declining. However, all patients still must continue to receive the needed medical treatment and care," the prime minister told a meeting with his deputies, focusing on the coronavirus situation.

He also reiterated that the government continued to support social workers who fight against the coronavirus at nursing homes for the elderly and the disabled, as well as at other residential agencies. These workers are entitled to special payments, upon the initiative of President Vladimir Putin.

"The government has additionally allocated over one billion rubles for this," Mishustin said. "I ask you to closely monitor that people in all regions receive their due remuneration timely," he stressed.
