Tu-141 drone launched from Ukraine crashed in Crimea

Earlier on Friday, it was reported that the Ukrainian drone had crashed at night in Zagreb suburbs

MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. A drone launched from the territory of Ukraine crashed on Friday in Crimea, a source in law enforcement authorities told TASS.

"Today there were two cases of Ukraine’s use of the Tu-141 Strizh unmanned aerial vehicle developed in the USSR," the source said.

"The first of them crashed near the city of Krasnoperekopsk (the Republic of Crimea), the second - in Zagreb (Croatia), having flown over 700 km," the source said.

Earlier on Friday, President of Croatia Zoran Milanovic said that the drone that had crashed at night in Zagreb suburbs was launched from Ukraine. The President expressed astonishment that the old drone was in skies over NATO members for more than an hour and was unnoticed. The incident is being investigated, Milanovic said.
