S7 official detained over 1.5 mln ruble bribe for employment on first Airbus A320neo
S7 Airlines flight director is suspected of facilitating the employment of a pilot for the first Airbus A320neo newest airplane in Russia
MOSCOW, June 23 . /TASS/. Russian investigators, in cooperation with the Federal Security Service (FSB) officers, detained Mansur Badrakov, the flight director at the S7 Airlines when receiving 1.5 million rubles (about $20670) for employment of a pilot or the first Airbus A320neo plane in Russia. A source in the law enforcement said that the official was detained in the act.
"Following the operation, carried out by the FSB Economic Security Directorate and the law enforcement officers, S7 Airlines flight director Mansur Badrakov was detained in the act while receiving 1.5 million rubles. He is suspected of facilitating the employment of a pilot for the first Airbus A320neo newest airplane in Russia (out of nine)," a source told TASS.
According to the source, an investigation is underway.
